Colorado Wildlife Habitat Stamp Debuts January 1st
The new Colorado Wildlife Habitat Stamp takes effect on Jan. 1, 2006. The stamp, which provides funding to protect and enhance wildlife habitat, will give everyone a chance to help the Colorado Division of Wildlife in wildlife protection efforts.

Beginning Jan. 1 2006, the Colorado Wildlife Habitat Stamp will be required for entry onto any designated state wildlife area and before purchasing a hunting or fishing license. The stamp is $10 if purchased without a hunting or fishing license. When purchased with a license, it is $5 and required on the first TWO licenses purchased in a calendar year. Stamps are free for young people and senior citizens. A lifetime stamp is available for $200.
