Colorado Rendezvous in April
Interested in experiencing Colorado of old? Come join us and the Colorado State Muzzle Loading Association for the CSMLA Rendezvous April 5th and 6th. If you’re interested in life in Colorado in the 1840s, then you will love the Colorado Rendezvous! Lots of people dressed in buckskins and period clothes, traders, trappers, and mountain men and women galore! Come and visit Traders Row, where you can buy all sorts of products and trade goods. Get homemade soap, tents, tipis, a large assortment of hides and skins and much, much more. There will also be free classes and demonstrations including Blacksmithing, carving, knife throwing, ax throwing, a muzzle loading clinic and so many other things that we don’t have the space or time to list them all out! There will be breakfast and lunch concessions available on Saturday. There is an awards banquet Saturday evening with an auction and live music after the dinner. There is a $1.00 entry fee at the door and a $15.00 charge for the dinner if you want to stay for the evening festivities.
The Rendezvous will be at Fort Lupton High School at 530 Reynolds Street and the Dinner will be at the Fort Lupton Community Center at 203 S. Harrison Ave. For more information call Ron at 720-933-9469
