Cuchara Pass offers a great, challenging ride long Colorado Highway 12.  This scenic route is 82 miles long from Trinidad through Stonewall over Cuchara Pass and then down to La Veta.  Continue north until you come to U.S. Highway 160 and then ride east to Walsenburg.  You will need someone to pick you up in Walsenburg, so keep this in mind!

This is a great ride!   live in Pueblo and love riding in the mountains.  I rode this in July and there is a lot of great scenery to see with lots of photo oportunities.

Is there someone who knows of some more off the beaten path rides that are close to home that I can try?  Thanks!
